Not normally suitable for heavy soil or rubbleA useful guide, not a loading limit: bag counts are approximate and depend on how bulky the waste is. Soil, rubble, concrete and other heavy materials may have stricter weight and fill limits, which we will confirm before booking.
Common waste
Standard skips can often accept mixed household and building waste, timber, garden waste and inert material such as soil or rubble. Heavy and specialist waste may need a particular skip or separate load.

Check price & availabilityGive us your postcode and preferred date. We will check the appropriate supplier and confirm the earliest available delivery before you book. Availability varies by area, skip size and permit requirements.
A skip placed on a public road normally needs permission from the relevant local authority. A skip on private land, such as a suitable driveway, will not normally need a road permit. We will confirm the process and any additional cost before booking.
Items such as asbestos, chemicals, paint, batteries, gas cylinders, tyres, fridges, freezers and some electrical or upholstered items need separate approval. Tell us about these before booking so we can arrange the correct service.
Choose ‘Not sure’ on the form. We will ask about the type and approximate volume of waste and recommend an appropriate option before you pay.
